CMH Architects Lifestyle Center Projects: The Summit – Birmingham

Located on a prominently visible site at the intersection of Highway 280 and Intersection 459, The Summit is a phased upscale "lifestyle" retail center built in five phases that includes over 900,000 SF of retail and 65,000 SF of office space housed in 28 buildings across an 80+ acre site. The retail center, designed in an Italian style, has a streetscape reminiscent of downtowns of half a century ago. CMH has been involved in all phases of the project beginning with the original site master planning through the 100,000 SF Phase VI currently under construction, comprised of 50,000 SF of office space over 50,000 SF of retail. CMH has designed or coordinated the design of all buildings and hardscape in the development.
