Market at ColonnadeRALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA
COMPLETED 2010 // 40,000 SF
The Whole Foods Market at Colonnade is a 40,000 SF building project under construction in Raleigh that has received pre certification from the USGBC. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is working with the team to reduce the overall building energy consumption. The site design features an innovative storm water management system that utilizes three below grade cisterns that virtually eliminates any site storm water impact on the existing city storm water infrastructure. A fourth cistern – above ground – is used to harvest rainwater for reuse at Whole Foods.
